In 1881
, the Castle was renamed according to the locality Le Bouscaut replacing Haut-Truchon.

In 1929
, Château Valoux was bought by Château Bouscaut.

In 1953
, the Château Bouscaut is classified "Graves Cru Classé".

In 1961
, a fire completely destroyed the castle while the cellars were spared, and Robert Place asks the architect Michel Garros Bordeaux to rebuild the castle according to the original plans.

In 1979
, Lucien Lurton, owner of several castles in the Bordeaux region, acquires Château Bouscaut. In 1992 he passes on the property to his daughter Sophie and her husband Laurent Cogombles.
